Soy has been used in Oriental culture for thousands of years to reduce the appearance of blotchiness and discoloration. It is a better alternative to Hydroquinone, a skin-bleaching / lightening ingredient, which is used to lighten the dark patches of skin. According to some studies in mice Hydroquinone may act as a carcinogen (a cancer-causing), although its cancer-causing properties have yet to be proved in humans. Hydroquinone also has been linked with the medical condition known as Ochronosis in which the skin becomes dark and thick.

I personally use all natural or organic based products therefore, I had someone else who uses regular skin products ordinarily try this product.

According to the tester: She liked the pleasant citrus smell as it smelled fresh and non offensive. The texture of the serum is light and non-sticky. Glides smooth over the skin and absorbed fairly quickly. She used it twice daily (morning and evening). In 2 weeks she has noticed slight improvement in fading of her discoloration of her sun spots. By week 4 she has noticed that the sun spots faced by 50 . She stated that she only needed light coverage foundation in comparison to moderate prior to usage of AVEENO Positively Radiant targeted tone corrector. The tester would recommend this product to family and friends and would continue to use this product in the future.
In conclusion if you use regular store or drug bought products (that are not all natural or contain organic ingredients) and don't mind the other ingredients in this product then this is a product for you to effective brighten the complexion
